“Go for it” and a business was born.

It was almost that simple for the Gellert Collection.  I had been working for a rep group for a couple years.  The owner decided to close her doors and I looked at my husband and said I wanted to give it a go on my own if I could land a few companies to join me.  A phone call to Egg Press and Snow and Graham launched my business.  They both supported me as I ventured into this amazing world.

I truly enjoy working with the many talented artists/crafts people/designers I have built relationships with over the years and starting new relationships as my business grows and changes.  I love getting a box in the mail from one of the many manufacturers I represent- what have they created?  Their talent inspires and excites me. The other relationships I can’t imagine giving up are those I have with the buyers and owners of the amazing stores I work with.  I have watched store owners come and go and come back again.  I have gone to weddings, met new boy friends, and shared life with these great people.  In turn I have shared my life with them.  This is more than just work for me.

Along with the talented artists and designers, I also work with a great team of sales reps.  Since almost day one, LeAnn Wassom has been by my side.  She came highly recommended by Jennifer Rich of Oblation Papers and Press.  LeAnn calls Portland her home and covers all of Oregon.  Suzanne Haynes is newer to the rep world, but has a deep love of paper.  She calls this her "dream job".  Suzanne covers most of Washington with the exception of a handful of Seattle stores.

Other things I love:  walking my dog with my husband Saturday mornings in the Washington Park Arboretum, long runs with friends, listening to my kids laugh, cooking, and coffee in bed (actually almost anywhere).
